本书是《金砖国家发展战略对接：迈向共同繁荣的路径》的英文版，是中国社会科学院国家全球战略智库的第三份中外联合研究报告，是在2017年金砖国家智库论坛基础上形成的成果，汇集中外学者的十七篇文章，从多个角度阐述金砖国家的发展战略，包括全球背景、改革困境、发展前景、战略考量等，从“金砖国家发展战略对接：背景与意义”“金砖国家发展战略对接：路径与方案”“促进金砖国家发展战略对接的建议”等几个方面展开深入讨论。
