　　《中国社会科学院青年学术报告》(第2卷)问世了。这是中国社会科学院青年人文社会科学研究中心主办的以刊发青年学者的优秀学术成果为主的学术文集。
　　《中国社会科学院青年学术报告》的宗旨十分明确，那就是继承和弘扬中华民族求真、求是、经世的优秀学术传统，利用自己的阵地优势，推动哲学社会科学界青年学者科研水平的提高。
　　——求真，就是弘扬人文社会研究的科学精神，推崇严谨，反对浮躁；力主平实，杜绝空谈，确保我们发表的文章遵循严格的学术规范，具有纯洁的学术追求。
　　——求是，就是提倡探索精神，努力探索人和自然相互关系的规律，探索人和社会相互关系的规律，探索社会变迁的内在轨迹和理路；就是提倡理论创新，鼓励学术争鸣，努力为有志青年“究天人之际，通古今之变，成一家之言”提供一个高层次的学术平台。
　　——经世，就是崇尚服务意识，主张“文须有益于天下，有益于将来”，确保我们的文章坚持正确的政治方向、理论方向和科研方向，鼓励我们的作者面向现实，面向未来，深入研究重大的理论课题和实践课题，服务国家，服务民族，服务我们这个时代。
　　当然，作为严肃的科学工作者，我们深知，要真正践行上述宗旨十分不易。人的认识每向前迈进一步，都需要付出艰苦的甚至是长期的艰苦劳动。正如恩格斯所说：

　　即使只是在一个单独的历史事例上发展唯物主义的观点，也是一项要求多年冷静钻研的科学工作，因为很明显，在这里只说空话是无济于事的，只有靠大量的、批判地审查过的、充分地掌握了的历史资料，才能解决这样的任务。

　　然而，“诚重劳轻，求深愿达”。作为生活在一个能够、也应该产生科学巨人的伟大时代的青年学者，我们坚信，只要恪守科学的学术理念，只要不畏艰辛，勇于探索，中国的哲学社会科学事业必将走向辉煌的未来，《中国社会科学院青年学术报告》将成为这一宏伟进程的欢呼者和见证人。
